Taunton Deane

Morris Men

Will you take the step in 2026?

It's often said that the most difficult step in Morris is the one through the door. Taunton Deane Morris Men will always welcome beginners and experienced dancers and musicians to join our friendly team.

If you’ve got this far, take another step and come and join us at Bradford-on-Tone Village Hall (opposite The White Horse Inn TA4 1HG), every Tuesday 7:30pm-9:30pm from early September until Easter while we train for our summer dancing season.

Yes, we do wave hankies and clobber each other with sticks - we enjoy this and  wouldn't do it if we didn't!

For most of the time we perform traditional Cotswold Morris dances and those from our own Taunton tradition. During the winter we add a collection of Welsh Border dances.
